1. What brand of metal building do you sell?
A. We design, sell and erect Butler Steel Buildings. Butler is the largest metal building manufacturer in the world and was founded in 1901.
 
2. What type of frame-work does a steel building have?
A. The frame work of a steel building consists of steel “I” beams for the primary framing, and cold rolled steel for the secondary framing. <Visit Construction Terminology Here>
 
3.What type of roof do you put on metal buildings?
A. We offer five (5) different types of roof systems designed by Butler Manufacturing. See our thumbnail pictures of MR-24, CMR, Butlerib, VSR and Snapit roof systems.
 
4. What type of walls do you put on metal buildings?
A. You can put any kind of wall covering on a Butler Building (concrete, block, wood, EIFS, stucco, vinyl, glass or metal). Butler offers six (6) different metal wall panels. See our thumbnail pictures of Butlerib, Stylwall, Shadowall, TextureWall, Thermawall, Stylwall with Texture-Cote.
 
5. How much can you span with a steel building?
A. Butler Buildings range in width from 20’ to 150’ clearspan and from 20’ to 300’ with interior columns on standard buildings. Custom buildings may be designed to accommodate greater spans.
 
6. Are Steel buildings more expensive?
A. In most cases a short span steel building structure will be comparable with other structures; however as the span increases steel buildings will be more cost effective.
 
7. How do you finish off the inside of a steel building?
A. The inside of a steel building will be finished just the same as any other structure. Common products include wood, concrete, block, glass, sheetrock, EIFS and other various finish products.
 
8. Do you do the complete job?
A. Palace Builders, Inc. offers design, cost estimating, construction and construction management services. We can build your job from start to finish including Architectural and Engineering services.
